A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPMING THE CITY OF MARION, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF KANSAS STATUTES ANNOTATED 75-1117, 75-1120, 75-1121, 75-1120A, AND 75-1122 AS AMENDED, SO AS TO EXEMPT THE CITY OF MARION FROM MAINTAINING FIXED ASSET RECORDS AND ACCOUNTINGS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVBRNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MARION, KANSAS:

Section 1: The City of Marion, Kansas, a city of the Second Class, by virtue of Article 12, Section 5, of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself from the provisions of Kansas Statutes Annotated 75-1117, 75-1120, 75-1121 and 75-1122 and all amendments thereto, thereby making said statues inapplicable to said City, insofar as they require the City of Marion to maintain fixed asset records and accountings.
