A CHARTER ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTION 8 OF CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 05-01 RELATING TO THE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT OF APPOINTIVE OFFICERS.
SECTION 8. The Mayor
shall appoint, by and with the consent of the City Council, a City
Administrator, City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, City Treasurer, Police Chief,
Fire Chief, City Attorney and such other officers and employees as they may
deem necessary. Officers and employees will be appointed and confirmed by May
1st of each year and shall hold their offices for a term of one (1) year and
until their successors are appointed and qualified.
